What can you expect from yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy includes physical postures – asana, breathing – pranayama, relaxation and meditation. The practices are subtle yet very deep, connecting with the intelligence and natural healing powers of the body in a way not possible in group classes.

As a client, you will work with me one to one, working out your specific needs and developing an individual bespoke home practice, which fits your specific body, needs and lifestyle.

Qualified and Accredited Yoga Teacher and Therapist

I have found the experience of yoga therapy with Gayl to be really life enhancing. The sessions have helped me to stop and reconnect with my body. I had a chronic lower back issue with pain for a number of years and I have tried different therapies with different degrees of success.  Gayl really listened to me and I  have found a way to respond to and look at my pain differently. Through the therapy, I feel calmer, more connected and accepting of my body.”

Elaine Grix – lower back pain

Gayl has excellent listening skills, is very intuitive and has a good understanding of how my condition has impacted my whole life. I felt extremely supported throughout our sessions and she encouraged me to explore other aspects of my injury which allowed me to take my recovery more slowly and have more a dialogue with and understanding of my body. Gayl is an excellent yoga therapist and I would highly recommend her

        Ann – Achilles Tendonitis

I have improved my yoga practice whilst learning what to do avoid, gaining confidence in my movements in general. Her guidance is good, both practical and verbal, is extremely clear and she is very patient. Generally, I feel I have a stronger body, which is wonderful.

        Angela – Osteopenia & Osteoporisis

“At the end of my yoga therapy sessions, my foot is 90% better. I feel it is a combination of the yoga therapy, meditation, keeping positive, looking after my inner soul a bit more giving me the purpose of being able to handle the pain of the foot and resting up a bit more.

Gayl does not realise how good she is; she has a lovely soothing personality and voice which instantly calms me down. She has a very gentle way with her and really listens to her clients. I am so thankful I found her as she has given me the love of yoga, hopefully for life now as it really has made a huge difference not only physically but also mentally too.”
